Lightech is the brand of BLV Elektrik in the field of industrial and architectural lighting. In our modern production facilities located in the Istanbul Dudullu Organized Industrial Zone, we manufacture high-performance and innovative lighting fixtures for both indoor and outdoor spaces. Our lighting solutions and products aim to go beyond functionality, enhancing the atmosphere of spaces and improving the user experience.
At Lightech, we approach light with the Space – Experience – Human concept and develop lighting design within the framework of this triple interaction. We believe that proper lighting not only optimizes visual comfort or productivity but also employee health, safety, and sustainability. All our outdoor products have high protection ratings (e.g., IP65-IP66, IK08 and above impact resistance) against environmental factors such as rain, dust, and temperature changes. For example, our bollard fixtures used in parks and gardens provide a decorative appearance, while our LED street lights illuminate roads evenly and in compliance with regulations thanks to their advanced optical designs.

Moreover, in order to supply products for mass housing projects such as TOKİ, TSE certification is a prerequisite. Most Lightech products are TSE certified, proving their compliance with Turkish standards in the field of professional lighting. Our investments to obtain TSE certification for all our products are ongoing.

DESIGN AND R&D
Lightech’s R&D and design team develops new products by focusing on market needs and user experience. Advanced technology tools and methods are used during the design process. For example, before producing a prototype of an industrial fixture, detailed modeling is carried out using computer-aided design (CAD) software, and performance simulations are conducted.

In our production processes, lean manufacturing principles are applied; employee comfort is also prioritized through occupational safety, ergonomic stations, and regular training. With this continuously developing infrastructure, Lightech produces competitive, reliable, and long-lasting lighting solutions.
Procurement and Quality Control: We are aware that producing a high-quality product starts with high-quality components. Therefore, our Procurement Department sources critical components such as LED chips, drivers, diffusers, and housing materials from globally recognized and certified suppliers. Our incoming quality control team tests each batch according to international standards before production. After products leave the assembly line, they undergo 100% functionality and safety testing.
Laboratory
Lightech’s in-house lighting laboratory lies at the heart of our product design and quality assurance processes. Our laboratory is equipped with advanced technology instruments capable of precisely measuring the photometric and electrical performance of lighting fixtures.
Integrating Sphere and Color Measurement Test
This is a laboratory test used to measure optical performance parameters such as total luminous flux (lumens), correlated color temperature (CCT), and color rendering index (CRI) of fixtures.
Measures total lumens by capturing omnidirectional light output.
Analyzes CCT, CRI, and color consistency with a spectroradiometer.
Ensures quality control with samples from each production batch.
Electrical and Thermal Tests
The electrical parameters and heat management of fixtures are tested to ensure energy efficiency and long-lasting performance.
- Power factor, flicker rate, and total harmonic distortion (THD) are measured.
- LED and driver temperatures are analyzed using a thermal camera.
